Why we built it
Traditional mastering means an email, a queue, a revision round and a few days of dead time. For most independent releases that friction is the real cost — not the money. So we built a measurement-driven chain that does the unglamorous, repeatable part of the job: clean the bottom, control the dynamics, hit a competitive loudness, and keep true peaks safe for streaming encoders.
Nothing about the process is hidden. Every master ships with an engineering log listing the numbers pulled from your file — input peak, input and output loudness, crest factor, correlation, make-up gain and peak gain reduction — so you can judge the result on evidence instead of marketing copy.
Measure first
Peak level, approximate integrated loudness, crest factor and stereo correlation are measured from your actual audio. Every decision downstream is driven by those numbers rather than a fixed preset.
Correct, then colour
A 28 Hz high-pass clears subsonic energy, a narrow cut removes the worst low-mid buildup, and gentle presence and air shelves restore the top end that lossy codecs tend to flatten.
Glue and warmth
Program-dependent bus compression with a soft knee holds the mix together, followed by oversampled analog-modelled saturation for second-harmonic weight instead of brittle digital edge.
Land it safely
Make-up gain to roughly −9.5 LUFS and a look-ahead true-peak limiter at −1.0 dBTP, rendered to a 48 kHz / 24-bit WAV that every aggregator accepts.
Your audio stays yours
Processing runs locally in your browser through offline audio rendering. Your mix is not shipped to a rendering farm to be queued behind strangers' tracks, which is also why the turnaround is measured in seconds.
